Relive a momentous week in Paris where the women’s rowing team clinched gold, Andy Murray retired his racket and US sprint star Noah Lyles claimed the title of the fastest man in the world.

Team USA’s main character, Noah Lyles, wins gold by 0.005 seconds in men’s 100m final.

After losing both his heats and semi-final, Lyles’ came from last to first place and pulled off a personal best time of 9.79 seconds 

This race will go down in history as one of the closest finishes of the men’s 100m final ever.

Expect to see more from the Adidas-sponsored athlete this week, tonight he’ll be in action during the preliminary rounds of the men’s 200 Metres.


GB Rowing wins by the narrowest of margins

Great Britain’s rowers snatched Olympic gold in the women’s quadruple sculls after being half a boat length behind with only 200m to go. Lauren Henry, Lola Anderson, Georgina Brayshaw and Hannah Scott won by 0.15 seconds, adding to their 2023 world title success.


Andy Murray finally calls it a day

British tennis icon, Andy Murray’s career ends with Olympic doubles defeat. Murray and Evans lost 6-2 6-4 to Americas Taylor Fritz and Tommy Paul.

“I’m proud of my career, my achievements and what I put into the sport”, said a visibly emotional Andy Murray


Amber Rutter misses out on Olympic gold

Team GB’s Rutter wins “dream” silver medal in women’s skeet final after tense shoot-off.

Rutter was called to have missed a shot against Chile’s Chadid, however, slow-motion replay indicates the athlete did hit. With no video assistant referee available to review the decision, Amber Rutter graciously took second.


Novak Djokovic rolls back the years

Djokovic wins his first Olympic gold at his fifth attempt saying its his “biggest achievement to date.”

He beat French Open and Wimbledon champion Carlos Alcaraz in the final after putting in his best performance of the year.


Keely Hodgkinson looking comfortable

Tonight, Team GB’s poster girl, Keely Hodgkinson goes for gold in the women’s 800m after seemingly being in a class of her own in the heats.

The British 800m record holder is a clear favourite and has had the gold in her sights for some time, “If I can commit, I think I will get what I want. I really want to upgrade my silver,” she expressed after her semi-final yesterday.
