Bunch of Amateurs started out as a film project for me, Rich Phippen. When COVID landed I decided to turn the footage I had into a YouTube channel. From that day on my life has changed dramatically. The series and the short clips that support it are seen by hundreds of thousands of viewers monthly. I have a handful of people who support me in producing a show that I hope can compete with the big budget streaming services. Over 2025 we hit new levels of engagement and survived the loss of all equipment to thieves.

The highlight of the year, technically, if not emotionally, was the play-off clash between Boreham Wood and Dorking Wanderers, where our storytelling and shooting quality combined to create a truly gut-wrenching episode of pure drama.

And over the last month I launched a new series, charting the creation of a brand new football team.
