The Sports Pods Placement unites Physiotherapy and Sport Rehabilitation students in pitch-side first-aid teams supporting University sports clubs. Through real-world clinical exposure, students develop core professional and interpersonal skills while delivering safe, high-quality support to fellow student athletes, enriching both their academic progression and the wider sporting experience. This has proven to be sustainable model of clinical placement delivery that adds value to the clinical support services delivered by experienced and knowledgeable clinicians.
