Last night, Sport Industry Group hosted the final Dining event of 2025 at the elegant Searcys St Pancras, bringing together members old and new for an evening of inspiration and connection.

The evening was hosted by Aimee Fuller, British slopestyle snowboarder and two-time Olympian. Since retiring from competitive sport, Aimee has become a prominent voice in sports broadcasting, working with BBC Sport and Red Bull TV, and she brought her trademark energy and warmth to the room.

Guests heard from Savannah Marshall, one of the most accomplished and compelling figures in British sport today. Born in Hartlepool, Marshall’s boxing journey began at the age of 12 – and it was far from easy. Ridiculed at her first gym simply for being female, she persevered, and that very same gym now boasts numerous female boxers, including title holders. Her story of resilience, self-belief and trailblazing success, becoming Britain’s first-ever female amateur world champion in 2012, resonated deeply with everyone in the room.

Alongside the powerful conversation, guests enjoyed fantastic food, flowing drinks and plenty of networking, with a brilliant mix of familiar faces and first-time attendees connecting across the evening.

As we wrap up 2025, this marks the final Dining event of the year, but we’ll be back bigger and better in 2026, with four Dining events and two Socials planned exclusively for Sport Industry members.

Now is the perfect time to join the Sport Industry community. Sign up for membership ahead of 2026 and receive a free ticket and entry to the 25th Anniversary Sport Industry Awards (excluding premium categories) one of the most important years in our history.
