Adidas And Megmeister Partner For ‘ubergreen’ Base Layer Range

Performance sportswear brand Megmeister and adidas Outdoor have partnered to create a new range of ‘ubergreen’ base layers.

The pair hope to ‘raise the bar for high performance, sustainable eco-friendly base layers’, with a new product which aims to reduce the amount of waste created during the knitting process and create a product which is 96& biodegradable at the end of life.

According to adidas, the ‘advancement of sustainability is only achieved through collaboration’, and both brands say they have shared innovations in a bid to do so.

Central to the partnership is the introduction of the DRYNAMO Wool Eco Long Sleeve Crew Base Layer that combines adidas’ experience in the outdoor sector with Megmeister’s expertise in garment design and creating advanced yarn technologies.
