Williams To Unveil 2021 F1 Car With New AR App
Williams Racing will unveil its 2021 car through a new AR app, which will project a life-size image into users’ homes.
The FW43B car will be unveiled on Friday 5th March, while the Formula 1 outfit has already launched the iOS version of its app, which will project a full-sized 3D model of the car, showing off its livery to fans around the world.
An Android app will be launched before the reveal.
The team will also offer fans will also be able to win a virtual meet and greet with 2021 race drivers George Russell and Nicholas Latifi after the launch, with a new campaign around Friday’s reveal.
A camera icon within the app itself will allow fans to take a screenshot of the car. Those who share images on social media using the hashtag #FW43B and tag Williams Racing will gain entry into the competition to win the prize.
