The Premier League title race took another turn in an exciting weekend of football, which also saw the Lionesses face the Italians in the Arnold Clark Cup.


Arsenal scored twice in stoppage time to win a six-goal thriller at Aston Villa and return to the top of the Premier League.

Villa went ahead twice in the first half, before Arsenal equalised midway through the second half. In the game’s dying minutes Jorginho’s shot came off the crossbar and bounced in off Villa goalkeeper Emi Martinez to put Arsenal 3-2 up, before substitute Gabriel Martinelli added a fourth.

The Premier League title continues to twist and turn.
