Premier League football club AFC Bournemouth has extended its partnership with UK-based law firm Trethowans for the 2022/23 season.

Trethowans will continue as official partner of AFC Business, the club’s free to join networking club which welcomes businesses to a variety of events and functions throughout the season.

The new deal will see Trethowans continue to appear at AFC Business events and functions.

Rob Mitchell, AFC Bournemouth’s Head of Commercial, said, “We’re delighted to continue our partnership with Trethowans.

“As one of Dorset’s largest law firms, they’ve helped the growth of the club’s networking club, AFC Business, and have become valuable partners for everyone involved.”

Mike Watson, managing partner at Trethowans, added, “Since partnering with AFC Business during the 2021/22 season, we’ve enjoyed getting back to a full programme of events and building up valuable relationships with the AFC Business members.

“We are pleased to continue our partnership with AFC Business and look forward to developing relationships over this season.”

The news comes as American businessman Bill Foley looks set to purchase the south coast club for £120m. The expectation is that the sale will go through this week, with Foley present at the Cherries’ victory over Leicester City on 8th October.

The club also recently extended another partnership with financial services provider Hill Osbourne.
