EFL Championship football club Blackburn Rovers and Venkateshwara Hatcheries Group have announced a major long-term sponsorship agreement.

Rovers has agreed a five-year partnership package, which will see the Venky’s brand added to both the men’s and women’s playing kits, whilst also enhancing the Indian company’s presence both at 31,000-caapcity Ewood Park and on the clubs’ various digital platforms.

The new deal sees Venky’s become sleeve sponsor for Rovers’ men’s team, back of shorts sponsor for the men’s, women’s and Under-21s teams and travel wear sponsor for both the men’s and women’s sides.

Venky’s branding will also appear as sponsor on the front of shirts for the Academy boy’s teams aged Under-9s to Under-18s and Rovers Women’s ETC age groups.

In addition, the logo will appear on a host of the club’s matchday social media graphics, as well as various in-stadia digital displays.

The multi-million-pound sponsorship package has been described as one of the most comprehensive in the club’s history.

Steve Waggott, Chief Executive Officer of Blackburn Rovers, said, “We are delighted to be expanding our existing commercial relationship with our Owners to promote brand Venky’s through this comprehensive partnership agreement.

“This renewed commitment, which opens many exciting opportunities for both businesses, demonstrates the owners’ unwavering determination to help the club progress strategically and build upon a shared vision for sustained success ahead of the 2023-24 season and for many years to come.”

“The Owners are delighted to enter into this new multi-year agreement, which further cements their relationship and their commitment to the club on a significant scale.

“A well-established and iconic brand, Blackburn Rovers will allow VH Group to tap into new markets and this new sponsorship deal provides a fantastic opportunity to further expand the Venky’s brand profile to an ever-increasing international audience.”
