Premier League football club Brentford FC has announced online shopping platform Aosom UK as its latest official club partner, after signing a two-year agreement.
Brentford has stated that parallels between the club’s recent success and Aosom’s growth is a driving force behind the partnership. In a statement, the club explained that ‘like Brentford, the retailer started small, yet lately they have been achieving plenty of success thanks to a core focus on teamwork – always looking forward, always working together.’
The new relationship will also see Aosom UK become an official trust supporter of the Brentford FC Community Sports Trust, where the West London-based company will get involved in projects to support their shared local community.
James Parkinson, Commercial Director of Brentford FC, said, “We are thrilled to welcome Aosom UK to Brentford FC. Our partnership will give them a platform to support their plans to grow their successful online retail business and we also look forward to working with them to engage with our communities”.
Arvind Panchmatia, General Manager of Aosom UK, added, “It’s a delight to be able to announce this new partnership with Brentford FC – they’re a club with similar values of passion, teamwork and community support; we’re very much looking forward to working together and expanding our horizons simultaneously”.
The news follows a number of significant deals secured by the Bees in recent weeks, including a stadium naming rights agreement with Gtech, and a new streaming partner – StreamAMG.
Brentford kicked off its Premier League season on Sunday 7th August with a 2-2 draw against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium. Ivan Toney and Josh Dasilva grabbed the goals as Thomas Frank’s side mounted a comeback from 2-0 down.
