The Cycling Podcast has announced that former professional road racing cyclist Dan Martin will be the podcast’s special guest at Pod Live, the UK’s first sports podcast festival.
The inaugural festival, Pod Live Sport, will take place from 8th to 12th February and features some of the world’s best sports podcasts, including The Socially Distant Sports Bar, The Race F1 Podcast, BBC’s Fighting Talk and the Sports Podcast of the Year 2022, Morning Kombat.
In December, The Cycling Podcast, which was founded in 2013 by Daniel Friebe, Lionel Birnie and the late Richard Moore, announced that it will be joining the Pod Live lineup.
Now, the podcast has revealed Irishman Dan Martin will feature on the Cycling Podcast’s special live recording.
Martin rode professionally between 2008 and 2021 for the Cannondale-Garmin, Quick-Step Floors, and UAE Team Emirates. He also competed at two Olympic Games and won stages of the 2013 Tour de France and the 2018 Tour de France.
Further creators performing at the podcast festival will be announced in the coming weeks.
