Bolton Wanderers have been saved from EFL expulsion after finalising a takeover deal.
The club’s administrators, David Rubin & Partners, transferred assets to Football Ventures (Whites) Limited. With the club now out of administration, the EFL has cancelled its notice of withdrawal as per the league’s insolvency policy, ending fears that Bolton could join Bury as only the second club expelled from the football league since 1992.
Porsche has premiered its new Formula E team, which will compete in the motorsport series from the start of the new season, beginning December 2019.
The unique unveil featured a video game, Formula E Unlocked, which aired on Twitch. Drivers Neel Jani and André Lotterer unveiled the car after being guided through the Porsche Digital premises in Ludwigsburg by those taking part online. The drivers were guided to find the Porsche 99X Electric car they’ll be driving next season, and officially unveil it to the world.
Earlier this week, the car brand announced its title partner would be Swiss watchmaker TAG Heuer, with whom it has a long-standing relationship, and that the team would race under the name of TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E Team.
Private gym operator Anytime Fitness has appointed West Indian cricketer Carlos Braithwaite as a brand ambassador.
Braithwaite hit the winning runs at the 2016 ICC World Twenty20 Final to beat England with two balls to spare, and will contribute regular blog content for the brand’s ‘Let’s Make Healthy Happen’ messaging.
