Leeds United have revealed a new retail partnership with licensed sports merchandise and e-commerce giant Fanatics.

Under the agreement, Fanatics will serve as the exclusive operator of the Championship club’s online store, as well as all retail locations throughout the city, including the flagship shop located at Elland Road.

The US company also picks up rights to manufacture a range of Leeds merchandise, including fanwear and accessories.

The Whites’ revamped online store  will launch next summer, and will leverage Fanatics’ Cloud Commerce Platform.

The Yorkshire club have become the latest football team to partner with Fanatics, joining Chelsea, Juventus, PSG, Aston Villa, Everton, and Sunderland.

In total, Fanatics’ partnership roster comprises more than 900 sports teams and organisations.

The deal marks the most recent partnership for Leeds, who secured a multi-year extension with the team’s kit supplier Adidas last month.

“Our fans, both in Leeds and around the world, are the lifeblood of the club and at the centre of everything we do,” said Morrie Eisenberg, Chief Operating Officer at Leeds United.

“We are therefore extremely excited to partner with Fanatics – a world leader in this field, with unparalleled global reach and experience in delighting fans.

“This partnership will offer our fans a number of benefits, including better access to a wider range of products, enhanced online and in-person retail facilities and new, exciting Leeds products available for fans both shopping in our stores locally, and at the click of a button from wherever they are in the world.”
