Premier League champions Leicester City has appointed Jonathan Gregory as the club’s new commercial chief.

Gregory has over 15 years experience across sport and brands including Coca Cola, Puma, Fulham FC and PepsiCo/Walkers.

He also worked for The FA at Wembley following its £757m redevelopment, and was later responsible for delivering the commercial programme for England’s 2018 World Cup bid.

Leicester City FC was crowned Premier League champions for the 2015/16 season, with Gregory’s appointment aiming to enhance the club’s commercial drive.

Since winning the title, Leicester has extended deals with the likes of Fischer Future Heat and DHL.

DHL, the team’s official logistics partner, also announced that the title win prompted new global demand, with the club doubling its global exports.

Leicester City’s debut UEFA Champions League campaign continued this week as they reached the knockout stages with one game to spare by beating Club Brugge on Tuesday evening.

The Foxes needed just a point to move into the last 16, but went on to secure all three to ensure they finish top of Group G.
