Nike Golf has secured the services of a number of top players to its roster of ambassadors, including world number 24, Patrick Reed; world number 88, Englishman Chris Wood, and world number 18, Alex Noren, as well as rookies Cameron Champ and Jimmy Stanger.
As part of the new ‘head-to-toe’ agreements, each of the golfers will wear the brand’s apparel and shoes on the course.
South Korea’s Si Woo Kim and England’s Lee Westwood have reportedly also signed agreements to wear Nike footwear.
Reed is a five-time PGA Tour winner and returns to Nike after several years with Callaway. Chris Wood has been ranked as low as 22, and is a three-time winner on the European Tour. Swede Noren has nine European Tour titles to his name but has yet to win on the PGA Tour.

Nike Golf’s roster of endorsees include long-time ambassador Tiger Woods, who returned to tour golf once again in the past few weeks, as well as major contenders Jason Day and Rory McIlroy, who signed a ten-year, $100m extension to his apparel deal last April.
While Reed’s apparel future is now clear, his equipment status is yet to be confirmed. The American is no longer under contract with Callaway for his equipment and has yet to announce if he will be signing elsewhere for the year.
Nike decided to cease the manufacturing of clubs and balls to focus on its clothing business in 2016, with the likes of Woods and McIlroy signing deals with TaylorMade.
