ParalympicsGB and Adidas have secured an eight-year extension to their longstanding partnership.
Under this renewal, Adidas will continue to provide sportswear for ParalympicsGB athletes competing at the Los Angeles 2028 Brisbane 2032 Summer Olympic Games, as well as the Paralympic Winter Games in Milano Cortina 2026, and the French Alps 2030.
Since their collaboration began in 2008, Adidas has equipped selected athletes with competition wear for all 22 Paralympic summer sports and six winter sports, along with village and podium apparel for use off the field.
This renewal follows a successful Paralympic Games for ParalympicsGB, which garnered a total of 124 medals, including 49 golds, finishing second in the medal table for the third consecutive Summer Games.
The apparel collection for Paris 2024 has been designed to enhance comfort and functionality for athletes with disabilities, featuring an athlete-first fit and accessible elements like strategic seam placement and the use of darker colours to reduce dirt transfer from wheels.
Additionally, ParalympicsGB replica kit has been released for the first time, allowing fans to support the team further.
Adidas recently extended its partnership with Team GB ahead of Paris 2024, which will also run until 2032.
David Clarke, CEO of ParalympicsGB said, “Adidas has become one of our most trusted partners, consistently helping our nation’s top Para athletes excel on the world stage.
“We look forward to seeing them in Adidas apparel at future Paralympic Games.”
Kathryn Swarbrick, Senior Vice President of Adidas Northern Europe added, “With an outstanding medal performance this year, we are excited to support our ParalympicsGB athletes as they prepare for the Winter Games and beyond.”
