Data-driven sports marketing agency Two Circles has strengthened in North America, having officially opened a new permanent office in Los Angeles.
Gareth Balch, Two Circles CEO, described the new presence as an “important milestone in Two Circles’ growth.”
The agency, which already operates on the East Coast of the US in New York, is aiming to improve customer experience, increase revenue and enhance its partner proposition in the region, where its portfolio of clients includes the NFL, MLS, New York Islanders and the National Lacrosse League.
A number of further client announcements are planned in the first quarter of the year.
Two Circles’ North American business will be headed by Los Angeles-based SVP Consulting Sam Yardley, who said: “As the media and technology landscape continues to change at pace, North American leagues and franchises have a huge opportunity to drive business growth in every area.
“We believe we have the track record and expertise to do that with more rightsholders, both on the West Coast and across the region.”
Balch added: “In the last 12 months we’ve seen unprecedented interest in the impact we can have helping North American sports rightsholders solve business challenges in areas ranging from digital sponsorship to growing OTT subscriptions and maximising ticket revenue.
“This on-the-ground presence in LA will help capitalise on that.”
Two Circles, twice named BT Sport Industry Awards Agency of the Year, has achieved rapid growth since its creation.
Last year parent group WPP confirmed plans to restructure its entire North American rightsholder business around the Two Circles brand.
