Wrexham AFC has announced a new partnership with VistaPrint.
The deal sees VistaPrint become the new back-of-shirt sponsor to Welsh football club that was recently promoted to the English Football League. This means the printing business will move from its previous position as sleeve sponsor.
With Wrexham winning National League and being promoted to EFL League Two, commercial requirements mean the sleeve sponsor is no longer available for league games, so VistaPrint now moves to the nape.
The new shirt position was revealed today on the club’s social media channels, as well as a sneak peek at the back of the new home shirt.
Wrexham AFC has seen its popularity grow significantly since the release of Disney’s Welcome To Wrexham, a docuseries following the journey of the club’s owners – Hollywood stars Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds.
Humphrey Ker, Executive Director Wrexham AFC, said, “We are delighted to continue our association with VistaPrint as we move from the National League to the EFL for the 2023/24 season.
“Once promotion was confirmed, and we knew the sleeve sponsorship would not be available, VistaPrint were the natural fit to move to a new position on the nape of the shirt.
“We would like to thank all at VistaPrint, on behalf of the Football Club, and we look forward to continuing our sponsorship.”
Emily Whittaker, Executive Vice President of Commerce & Marketing at VistaPrint, “Our partnership with Wrexham AFC continues to demonstrate the bond between sport, community and small businesses both on and off the pitch.
“The club’s promotion to the EFL is also a promotion for VistaPrint and the Wrexham small businesses that we’re honoured to share the spotlight with. We look forward to seeing VistaPrint’s prominent placement on next season’s kits.”
