The FEVO Sport Industry Awards is committed to being as environmentally friendly as possible by increasing our sustainability efforts at the biggest night of the sport industry calendar.
We are determined to embrace the importance of becoming more eco-conscious and reflect the growing effort across the industry to put the planet first.
Here are just some of the steps we’ll be taking at this year’s Awards…

ONE TREE PLANTED
Last month, One Tree Planted became an Official Partner to the FEVO Sport Industry Awards.
The environmental non-profit organisation is dedicated to global reforestation and has planted over 92.7 million trees in more than 80 countries since it was formed in 2014.
In signing on as the Official Sustainability Partner of SIG, One Tree Planted has announced that they will plant one tree for each of the expected 1,500 attendees at this year’s Awards.
REDUCED PAPER
Every year at the Awards we make a concerted effort to reduce paper waste throughout the event.
To fulfill this commitment, in 2023 we will be discontinuing the Yearbook and making the official shortlist digital, as well as introducing e-tickets.
REMINDER: Download your e-tickets before arriving at the event!

SUSTAINABLY SOURCED FOOD
Every year we work with our partner Smart Group to create a fully sustainable menu with locally sourced ingredients and minimum waste.
TRAINER DROP OFF
We are encouraging all the guests at the Awards to consider their transport options this year. As well as using public transport we’ll be making the option of walking to the Awards easier with our ‘Trainer Drop Off’ at the cloakroom.
Pack your heels or smart shoes in a bag and stroll over through Battersea Park and we’ll ensure it’s a simple swap over at the venue!

NEXT YEAR… SUSTAINABILITY MEASURES CONSIDERED AS PART OF JUDGING PROCESS
From next year’s Awards, sustainability will become a central pillar of the full FEVO Sport Industry Awards judging process.
Sustainability measures and carbon footprint offsetting will be considered throughout the entry as part of a wider effort to ensure the industry has the planet’s well-being top of mind.
