Sport Industry Socials: Storytelling In Sport

This week, the first Sport Industry Socials event of 2025, Storytelling In Sport, took place at Everyman Cinema, Broadgate.


The evening saw Sport Industry Partners, Members, NextGen Leaders and special guests invited to a private screening of the very best content produced by the sports industry in the past 12 months.

To showcase the excellent standard of work in the industry on the big screen, we pulled together a selection of the content entries from the FEVO Sport Industry Awards 2025 shortlist. Campaigns and films from the Long Form Content Award, Short Form Content Award, and Talent Campaign of the Year featured.

The content was followed by a panel led by Kenny Annan-Jonathan, Creative Director, Crystal Palace FC, who joined by Steve Marks, Senior Director Brand Communications, Adidas and Lizzie Lawrence, Senior Producer, Original & Branded Content, European Tour Productions.

Key discussion points included the evolution of how rightsholders distribute content, the increasing access to talent, the myths around Gen Z content consumption, and how athletes are beginning to own their own content and create their own channels.
