This week, the final Sport Industry Socials event of 2024, The Future of Sports Tech, took place at Samsung KX in London.
Sport Industry Socials is a series of events that focuses on trending topics within the industry and is ideal for anyone working in sport who wants to expand their knowledge and network at the same time.
Delivered in partnership with the incumbent FEVO Sport Industry Agency of the Year, Ear to the Ground, the event saw Sport Industry Partners, Members, NextGen Leaders and special guests invited to the state-of-the-art Samsung showroom in King’s Cross, London, for an immersive exploration of cutting-edge technology in sport.
A packed room of industry professionals included representatives from Arsenal, Premiership Rugby, Diageo, Three, Xero, Aston Martin, Vodafone, Spotify, Santander, Asahi, Coco Cola, Populous, INEOS Grenadiers, Boxxer, Hugo Boss, PGA Tour, TikTok, EY, Deloitte, Kappa and Wasserman.
The full roster of sports tech exhibitors had the opportunity to showcase their work to senior decision makers in the sector, while guests were able to get hands-on with the latest gadgets and solutions.

A panel was led by Simon Luff, Head of Strategy at Ear To The Ground, who explored the technology on display around the room as well as exploring the current and future relationship between tech and sport.

Simon kicked off by introducing the room to Ear To The Ground’s AI Fan Intelligence technology before being joined by Simon Eaton, Managing Partner at Fifty, to discuss his own approaches to data and technology through advertising.
Finally, guests benefitted from a deeper insight into a number of the tech exhibitions on show through conversations with Joanna Liddington (Head of Operations at GiveVison), Niall Hendry (Product Director – Visualisation at Stats Perform), and Simon Thompson (Founder at Trickshot).
