Warner Bros. Discovery’s streaming service, Max (formerly HBO Max), has acquired exclusive rights to stream a selection of Premier League and Emirates FA Cup matches in Mexico and Central America.

The multi-year deal will see Max broadcast a total of 190 Premier League matches and 40 FA Cup matches each season.

The coverage will kick off on 10th August with the 2024 FA Community Shield, featuring the highly anticipated clash between Manchester City and Manchester United.

Max’s Premier League coverage is set to begin on 16th August, offering fans five matches per round. The latest addition complements Max’s existing portfolio, which includes the UEFA Champions League, accessible for the next three seasons.

Juan Solá, Head of Streaming for Warner Bros. Discovery for Latin America, said, “Combining the best competitions in Europe, such as the UEFA Champions League and Emirates FA Cup, together with local tournaments such as the Paulistao in Brazil or the Campeonato Nacional in Chile, positions us as an ideal destination for football fans in the region.”

Paul Molnar, Chief Media Officer of the Premier League, “The Premier League is excited to offer Mexican and Central American fans the opportunity to watch live Premier League and Emirates FA Cup matches via Max.

TNT Sports is a long-standing partner of the Premier League in the United Kingdom, and we are pleased to expand our relationship with them to include Central America.”
