Spirit Of The Game Heroes: Steven Naismith

Everton and Scotland forward, Steven Naismith, is the latest recipient of the Barclays Spirit of the Game Award for his selfless charity work and contributions to the local community. Steven works tirelessly off the field with the likes of Job Centre Plus, Dyslexia Scotland and the Whitechapel Centre in Liverpool, to help give back to the communities that have supported him throughout his football career.

Most recently at the start of the 2014/2015 season Steven worked with Job Centre Plus to give Everton tickets to the unemployed people of Liverpool and give them an opportunity to watch Barclays Premier League games at Goodison Park. Previously he has worked with Whitechapel Centre, a homeless charity in Liverpool, to provide Christmas dinner to all those sleeping rough on the streets of the city.
