BBC Sport and ITV have penned a broadcast rights deal to secure the live coverage of the UEFA Women’s Euro 2025.

Every match of the 16-team tournament is set to be broadcasted in the UK on either the BBC or ITV, except for the final which will be shown on both platforms.

With less than a year until kick off in Switzerland, it has been confirmed thathalf of the matches will be shown across the BBC and iPlayer, with highlights shown on the BBC Sport website and social media platforms. The remaining games will be covered by ITV across ITV1 and ITV4, with catch up on ITVX.

Live audio commentary will be broadcast on BBC Radio 5 Live and 5 Sports Extra, with fans able to listen to 5Live coverage on BBC Sounds and DAB radio.

The Lionesses will be hoping to reign champions and repeat their success in 2022, featuring Chloe Kelly’s overtime winner in the 110th minute.

The previous tournament saw total TV reach 27.4m and it was streamed 18m times across BBC iPlayer, with over 17m watching the final on BBC One.

The BBC and ITV joined forces with the European Broadcasting Union to secure the rights.

Niall Sloane ITV Director of Sport, echoed, “Following the success of the Women’s World Cup last year, which drew big audiences to ITV across the tournament, we are looking forward to showcasing next year’s UEFA Women’s EURO.”
