Defender Celebrates Inspring Trailblazers Ahead Of The Rugby World Cup

Defender launched its Rugby World Cup 2023 campaign on the opening eve of the tournament with an event honouring Defender Trailblazers.


According to the Rugby World Cup 2023 worldwide partner, trailblazers are modern-day heroes who are changing the face of rugby through their determination, resilience and human spirit.

Trailblazers highlighted by the brand include a 90-year-old doctor who refuses to hang up his shirt, international para-athletes and the founder of the first LGBT+ friendly rugby club in France, all of whom and were celebrated at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris.

The opening night launch, where hosts France overcame the All Blacks 27-13, was headlined by British rapper and actor, Kano, alongside the Rugby World Cup 2023 limited edition Defender.
