LFC FOUNDATION: DRIVING LASTING CHANGE
The LFC Foundation uses football to create lasting social change, aligning with Liverpool FC’s Red Way Communities Pillar to deliver life-changing opportunities locally and internationally. In 2024/25, the Foundation directly and indirectly supported 145,617 people across 11,733 sessions and 693 events, reaching participants from diverse backgrounds: 43% female, 22% ethnic minority, 11.5% with disabilities, and 58% from the top 20% most deprived areas. Evidence-based programmes including On Target, Sound Minds, STEM, Creative Works, and Global Works improved mental health, educational engagement, and employability. International programmes reached 19,230 children. Strategic partnerships, rigorous evaluation, and inclusive delivery generated £80.32m in social value (£364.79m over five years), achieving an SROI of £10.28 per £1 invested. The 2025–30 strategy aims to support 500,000 beneficiaries annually, expand international partnerships to 10+ countries, and remain a sector leader in research, evaluation, and inclusion.
