The LTA transformed British tennis in 2025, driving industry-leading change.

We relaunched Queen’s as the fortnight‑long HSBC Championships, returning women’s professional tennis to the iconic Baron’s Court venue for the first time in 52 years, with the highest prize money for a WTA 500 event on tour.

At the grassroots our £45m Park Tennis Project completed its refurbishment of 3,000+ courts, reconnecting communities and supporting 2.25m people to play in parks. Padel continues to grow rapidly with 1,000+ courts and over 400,000 players.

We have had five British women in the top 100, ten men in the top 200 (the highest since 1976) and five Brits in the ATP doubles top‑10. We expanded workforce capacity, advanced female athlete health, and embedded sustainability and inclusion across operations.
