BACK OF THE NET FOR FOOTBALL REBOOTED
Utilita’s “Football Rebooted” initiative stands as the Beautiful Game’s most significant environmental campaign, having already prevented nearly 3,000 tonnes of CO₂e from being generated through the production of new boots.
This forward-thinking, environmentally conscious scheme has also enabled thousands of children to take up or return to football in the wake of the pandemic. So far, about 200,000 pairs of quality, pre-loved football and astro boots have found new owners via the campaign’s 800 collection points nationwide.
The advantages are clear across all ages and groups: from toddlers at their first football sessions to under-80s women’s walking football teams.
