Women’s Rugby World Cup (RWC25) delivered an unforgettable celebration of sport, unity, and empowerment. Staged across eight venues and cities, RWC25 embodied inclusivity and passion, attracting record-breaking crowds, global media attention, and exceptional community engagement. Over 92% of available tickets were sold – a total of 444,465.

The nationwide format welcomed new audiences, with almost half the attendees experiencing women’s rugby for the first time. Seamless organisation, electric matchday experiences, and innovative fan activations created a festival atmosphere, achieving an outstanding NPS score of 84.

On the pitch, thrilling performances and the players’ powerful personalities captivated fans, showcasing the heart and humanity of rugby union. The Final at the Allianz stadium saw the largest crowd ever for women’s rugby at 81,885.

It was a movement – championing change and showing every women and girl that they can ‘be anything, do anything and belong anywhere – in rugby, in sport and in society’.
