Aston Villa has signed a two-year extension to its sleeve sponsorship deal with Trade Nation, which will now run until the end of the 2025/26 season.

The online trading platform’s logo will continue to feature on the sleeves of all Villa first team shirts over the duration of the new contract, which also includes trading partner designation.

Further details of the deal were not disclosed, but the original partnership signed in 2023 was reportedly worth £2m per season.

Having secured qualification for next season’s UEFA Champions League, Villa recently revealed Betano as the club’s main shirt sponsor from the 2024/25 campaign, in a deal worth a reported £20m annually, making it the most lucrative in the team’s history.

Earlier this month, Villa confirmed a new multi-year kit supplier agreement with Adidas, which will replace Castore from next season. According to reports, the deal is worth £17m per season, which is also a significant increase on the previous pact with Castore, which was believed to be worth £4m a year.

Chris Heck, President of Business Operations at Aston Villa, said, “As a club we are undergoing a period of exciting growth on and off the pitch and with Trade Nation we continue to share a partner who matches our ambition.

“That a business with the global footprint of Trade Nation has extended its partnership with Aston Villa demonstrates the success of the project we are undertaking.”
