Stats Perform’s Pressbox Live Adds American Football

Stats Perform has announced that American football has been added to its PressBox Live sports data dashboard and commentary assistant for the 2022/23 season of the National Football League (NFL) and National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).

The sports technology and data provider said that PressBox Live would leverage Stats Perform’s proprietary NFL and NCAA data, dating back to 1920, to supply broadcasters, social media platforms and content creators with various features to enhance pre-game, in-game and post-game analysis.

The dashboard, powered by artificial intelligence (AI) as well as data, delivers real-time insights and statistics around developments in a game via a customised newsfeed called ‘The Stream’ while simultaneously highlighting betting insights alongside play-by-play coverage.

An additional live chat functionality enables PressBox Live users to tap into Stats Perform’s data experts for immediate research and editorial support – a first-of-its-kind offering for NFL-specific coverage. The platform also uses AI to create ready-to-use graphics and visualisations automatically.

PressBox Live’s football-focused solution, which launched in May 2021, currently covers about 280 different leagues worldwide, including the Premier League.
