Cinch Appoints Pitch Marketing Group To Activate Sports Partnerships

Online car buying platform cinch has appointed Pitch Marketing Group to activate its sports partnerships after a competitive pitch process.

The agency will become cinch’s retained sponsorship activation agency, and will be responsible for the activation of the brand’s high-profile sports partnerships, which have grown in recent months to include new cricket, football, tennis and rugby deals.

Since its launch in October 2020, the brand has followed up a national ad campaign by signing a host of sponsorship deals in sport, including an Official Sleeve Partnership with Tottenham Hotspur, a naming rights deal with the LTA for the cinch Championships at The Queen’s Club, Principal Partnership of England Cricket with the ECB, and a deal with Northampton Saints which includes back-of-shirt branding.

The new business win will see Pitch Marketing Group’s specialist sponsorship division, Pitch Partnerships, begin an integrated marketing campaign to incorporate creative services, branded content production, PR, social media strategy, and immersive events and experiences across the brand’s partnerships.
