Williams Racing has inked a multi-year partnership with Santander, which takes effect from the 2025 Formula 1 season.
Under the agreement, the financial services company’s branding will feature on Williams cars driven by Alex Albon and Carlos Sainz, as well as on helmets and team apparel.
In partnering with the UK-based F1 team, the bank is aiming to drive brand awareness in the US.

Next year, Santander will promote its Openbank brand on Williams cars during the three US Grand Prix in Austin, Miami, and Las Vegas.
The deal marks the latest agreement for the team, who recently renewed their partnerships with Duracell and Kraken, and Gulf Oil International.
Santander meanwhile are expanding their footprint within motorsport, after securing a multi-year Formula 1 partnership in September.
“Williams Racing is proud to add Santander to our growing roster of iconic and innovative partners for 2025 and beyond,” said James Vowles, Team Principal at Williams Racing.
“Joining forces with a global banking giant trusted by tens of millions of people around the world is another significant step in our transformation and we look forward to working with Santander to engage and excite fans in the years ahead.”
“This is one of the most historic teams with the greatest legacy in F1, and complements our role as the official retail banking partner of the competition with a focus on our main markets,” added Juan Manuel Cendoya, Global Head of Communications, Corporate Marketing and Research at Santander.
