DRAPER WINS IN VIENNA
Jack Draper won the biggest title of his career at the Erste Bank Open in Vienna.
Draper produced an outstanding level to beat Russia’s Karen Khachanov 6-4 7-5 in the final of the ATP 500 event.
The 22-year-old left-hander, who reached his maiden Grand Slam semi-final at the US Open last month, will rise to a career-high ranking of 15th in the world on Monday.
It was recently revealed that Wimbledon line judges will be replaced by electronic line calling technology from 2025.
GERMANY GET ONE OVER LIONESSES
England suffered defeat by Germany as the teams that contested the Euro 2022 final at Wembley returned to the same stage and delivered a seven-goal friendly thriller.

LANDO CALLS OUT MAX
Lando Norris cut Max Verstappen’s lead to 47 points as the championship battle heated up at the Mexico City Grand Prix.
Verstappen, who Norris labelled “dangerous”,was given two 10-second penalties for his driving against Norris for two incidents in the same lap but still managed to finish sixth.
Norris took second place, catching and passing Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc for second with nine laps to go, while Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz took a dominant victory.
Formula 1 recently signed a multi-year partnership with temporary power solutions provider Aggreko.
SARACENS NICK VICTORY
Saracens marked centurion Leanne Infante’s final game with a thrilling 49-38 bonus-point win over defending champions Gloucester-Hartpury to move top of the Premiership Women’s Rugby table.

British football brand Mitre has revealed its new Emirates FA Cup and Adobe Women’s FA Cup footballs for the 2024/25 season.
The official ball supplier of both competitions, in partnership with The FA, is launching two new designs that will capture the attention of players and fans both on and off the pitch.
