International event, sports management and intelligence consultancy 4global has unveiled a new visual brand as it seeks to become “the number one trusted advisor in sport.”

The London-based major event specialist teamed up with Edinburgh’s Brand Oath for the refresh. The design and branding agency is also among the UK specialists in the major event sector, with a track record working for bids, organising committees and governing bodies in international sport.

4global’s rebrand follows a period of strong business growth for the firm, building on its involvement in delivering projects including the Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games and the Rugby World Cup.

The firm commissioned BrandOath to refresh all elements of its visual identity and marketing framework.

4global’s previous brand made international headlines in 2016 when the company raised questions about the similarity of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games bid emblem to its mark.

The new, integrated visual identity programme presents a significantly new image.

Bernie Shaw-Binns, managing director at Brand Oath, said: “There is a clear opportunity for 4global to find it its own unique space, to position themselves as leaders in their field.

“We have created a strong visual language for 4global which, in turn, helps build engaging relationships with their audiences. We look forward to continuing our relationship with 4global going forward.”

4global senior partner Eloy Mazon, commented: “We were delighted to work with Brand Oath, as our brand plays a key role in our business, expressing our unique character and helping build perception around what we stand for in the minds of our audiences.

“The company is evolving and growing, and the brand refresh allows us to get closer to our vision of becoming the number one trusted advisor in sport.”

4global has offices in London, Istanbul, Rio and Sydney. Its clients include international sports federations, organising committees, national governing bodies of sport, national and local governments and leisure and fitness operators.

Brand Oath has delivered design, branding and communications for Olympic and Commonwealth Games, national teams, governing bodies and federations, events and bid, most recently producing the winning design and branding that helped Liverpool secure the 2022 FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships, in partnership with British Gymnastics, Liverpool City Council and UK Sport.
