MSQ Sport + Entertainment named lead sponsorship agency for Virgin Media O2

Virgin Media O2 has appointed MSQ Sport + Entertainment as its lead partnership and sponsorship agency for both brands from 1st January.


MSQ Sport + Entertainment will manage O2’s partnerships with England Rugby, Virgin Media Gamepad at The O2, and O2’s sponsorship of boxer Shannon Ryan.

The agency will work alongside VCCP, Manning Gottlieb, and Hope & Glory to deliver sponsorship activations for both brands.

Founding partners, Jamie Wynne-Morgan & Steve Martin, said, “In the world of sponsorship, it doesn’t get much bigger than O2 and Virgin Media and we’re thrilled to be working with Gareth and his talented team again.

Our dedicated, bespoke team will bring renewed energy and creativity to the account, ensuring these brands maintain their positions as icons of innovation and creativity in sponsorship.”

The account team, comprising eight members, will be overseen by Founding Partner Jamie Wynne-Morgan. The O2 team will be managed by Marie Houlgate, Head of Sport Sponsorships, while Diane Campbell, Head of Gaming & Sponsorship Operations, will oversee the Virgin Media team.

The agency’s portfolio includes Howden’s British & Irish Lions partnership, Callaway Golf Europe, and Glenfiddich’s collaboration with Aston Martin’s Formula 1 team.

This partnership announcement follows the strengthening of MSQ’s leadership team in January when they appointed Kim Broadbent as Managing Partner.
