Adidas has launched its first product marketing campaign since the Olympics promoting its Boost footwear range, which uses midsole energy capsules in the shoe intended to improve running performance.
The brand has released a teaser video of the campaign, which you can view on Sport Industry TV.
The campaign will use the brand’s range of high-profile ambassadors including David Beckham, Lionel Messi and Jessica Ennis in a range of TV, outdoor, print and digital activity using the campaign’s ‘Endless Energy’ strapline. Adidas will also be promoting and sampling the products at the London, Berlin and Boston marathons.
The brand is targeting running as a major area of marketing investment and hopes to reach its sales target of £14.5bn by 2015.
Adidas plans to extend the Boost strategy to other sports categories in the coming months and will use insight from its online ‘Adidas’ Insiders’ community to develop future collections and campaigns.
