Arena Seating has installed 11,000 temporary demountable seats to expand the capacity of the Scotstoun Stadium ahead of the eighth round of the HSBC Sevens World Series in Glasgow.
Arena Seating designed and installed three different grandstands in three weeks, transforming the athletics venue into a 15,000 capacity sporting stadium to host the Scottish leg of the tournament, where sixteen international rugby 7’s teams came to battle it out for the HSBC World Series points.
The Scotstoun Stadium is an athletics and Rugby union venue located in the West End of Glasgow, which has benefitted from a major £17.5million renovation in recent years. The Glasgow Warriors rugby Union team has trained there since 2009 and now play their home games from the 2012-13 season.
