EngineDare and Synergy have launched ‘Golden BMW’, a new campaign to drive awareness of BMW’s role as the Official Automotive Partner of London 2012, which will see a convoy of three Gold BMW EfficientDynamic cars tour the UK leading up to the Games, offering people the chance to win a pair of tickets every day to ‘The Ultimate Performance’.
To be in with a chance of winning tickets to the London 2012 Games, passers-by simply need to spot the car, snap a picture and share it via twitter (#GoldenBMW), Facebook, email or the BMW website.
Each day one person will win a pair of Games tickets, and at the end of the tour everyone who submitted a picture will be entered into a prize draw to win a BMW for a year.
A video to accompany the campaign has also been launched, which features at Sport Industry TV.
EngineDare has also created the website and social media plan to support the competition with live feeds on the locations of the Gold BMWs, tweets from the cars, and radio, print and online advertising.
Synergy has teamed up with TRO to develop the localised PR and experiential activity for everyday of the campaign maximising its reach and exposure.
