brandRapport Sport and Entertainment has announced the appointment of Alex Goddard to lead the agencies new digital and social media division, having taken the decision to move its digital offering in-house.
Goddard joins brandRapport from Clash Music, having worked across digital planning and strategy, content creation and brand partnerships. Whilst at Clash Music he led the development of the publication’s overall digital content strategy, including the launch of their mobile app, and worked on brand partnership activities with the likes of Nike, HTC and Converse.
brandRapport Digital will provide a range of services & expertise across strategy, content creation & management, and distribution.
Commenting on the appointment, brandRapport managing director Andy Kenny, said: ‘We are delighted to launch brandRapport digital and welcome Alex to the agency. brandRapport has a track record of delivering creative, award winning digital and social media campaigns with leading brands, and Alex’s arrival will further enhance our offering.’
In 2013 brandRapport won 13 new clients and, according to the agency, its new digital and social media division is part of wider agency developments planned during 2014.
