Brentford have revealed Acronis as the West London club’s cybersecurity partner.
Through the new agreement, the Premier League outfit will use the company’s cybersecurity and data protection programmes to secure the club’s systems and data.
Managed through a single console, Acronis provides comprehensive security and backup solutions tailored to the digital needs of organisations, including sports teams.
Acronis has worked with numerous Premier League teams, including Manchester City, Fulham, West Ham United, Arsenal and Southampton.
Mike Morris, Technology Director at Brentford, said, “Maintaining the highest standards of data protection and cybersecurity is essential for modern football operations, both on and off the pitch.
“This partnership with Acronis gives those of us working behind the scenes peace of mind that our data is securely backed up and protected.”
Southampton have partnered with Network International School (NIS) in Myanmar in a three-year collaboration to help support educational development.
The initiative aims to support NIS’s football development programmes and enhance educational opportunities both on and off the pitch.
The partnership will include access to Southampton’s coaching staff and Player Development Programme, featuring resources such as the SFC Curriculum, an online library, and webinars focused on coach and player education.

Remote engagement opportunities will enable NIS staff, coaches, and players to benefit from the club’s renowned Academy framework, known as The Southampton Way.
Southampton staff said, “We have a large range of programmes, for both on & off the field support, that we know will work really well at NIS.
“We’re looking forward to providing the frameworks and insights from our famous academy history, to their players & coaches.”
Scott O’Neil has been appointed CEO of LIV Golf, assuming responsibility for the league’s strategic vision, business operations, and global growth.
Greg Norman, who played a key role in launching LIV Golf as its CEO and Commissioner, has stepped down from day-to-day management.
During Norman’s tenure, the two-time major champion oversaw the launch and emergence of the Saudi-backed golf league, which launched in 2022.
O’Neil brings more than 25 years of experience managing major sports and entertainment brands, including leadership roles with the New York Knicks, Philadelphia 76ers, and Madison Square Garden.

“The opportunity to lead a global sports league is a dream come true,” O’Neil said.
“What LIV Golf has achieved in just three years is remarkable – the game has been infused with a long overdue bolt of energy and innovation with the team model, players have increased freedom and rights, fans are getting the access they have always wanted, and the game has been brought to new markets that have been desperate for elite golf for decades.“
