Huub has expanded its partnership with British Triathlon, providing a new range of apparel for the Great Britain age group team, which had over 3,500 members compete in 2024.

As part of the collaboration, Huub has developed a comprehensive selection of kit and merchandise, including accessories, cycling and training gear, and leisurewear for British Triathlon members and supporters.

The partnership also extends to British Triathlon’s Next Generation programmes, with Huub supplying kit for pathway athletes, coaches, and tutors to support the development of emerging triathlon talent.

Ruth Daniels, Chief Executive of British Triathlon, said, “We can now offer Age Group athletes access to products that don’t just look great but also give them the edge when competing.

“All kit has been co-developed and designed to give them confidence to line up at the start line of international and national events knowing they have the best team wear and all the advantages that come with them.”

British Triathlon has also expanded its pregnancy deferral policy, enabling women who qualify for the GB team to defer their place for up to two years.

The policy builds on British Triathlon’s existing framework for athletes on its programme and those competing at the Olympic and Paralympic levels.

Developed in consultation with Age Group athletes over six months, the extension ensures that women at all levels of competition can return to training at their own pace without the risk of losing their team position.

The deferral policy applies to competitors who qualify for international events across categories from under-19 to over-80. It aims to provide greater flexibility and support, ensuring that athletes can focus on their physical and mental well-being during pregnancy and beyond.

Vicky Holland, GB’s first female Olympic triathlon medallist and a British Triathlon board member, said, “Women should not be expected to give up on their goals and ambitions, nor forfeit more than necessary in order to grow their families.

It should be possible to have a child and then return to the sport you love when the time is right without being penalised in any way – just as it should be in the workplace.

Scarlets Rugby have partnered with Power and Water, a provider of advanced water treatment and management solutions, to support the maintenance of high-quality playing surfaces at Parc y Scarlets.

As part of the agreement, Power and Water’s technology will be integrated into the club’s irrigation system to ensure the pitch remains in optimal condition year-round.

This collaboration reflects a shared focus on sustainability and innovation, benefiting both player performance and the fan experience.

Garan Evans, Scarlets’ Head of Commercial, said, “We are delighted to welcome Power and Water as part of the Scarlets family.

“Their dedication to sustainable water treatment and management aligns perfectly with our values, and their state-of-the-art solutions will be a game-changer for maintaining our facilities to the highest standards.”

The Football Association (FA) has joined Women in Football’s Corporate Membership programme, supporting women’s professional development within the organisation.

As part of the membership, Women in Football will collaborate with FA personnel to create a tailored package of resources that aligns with the association’s specific needs.

The FA becomes the latest organisation to join Women in Football’s network, which includes several Premier League clubs, the EFL, Sky Sports, and News UK.

Building on the success of its previous strategy, Inspiring Positive Change, the FA aims to continue advancing opportunities for women and girls across all levels of the game, from playing and coaching to officiating and professional development.

Yasir Mirza, The FA’s Director of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, said, “We’re very pleased to be working with Women in Football, and this new partnership will help to build on our ongoing commitment to make our game truly inclusive and accessible for all women and girls.”
