Cadbury has bolstered its ties with the London 2012 Olympic Games by becoming an official supporter of the Games Maker programme.
The deal adds to its role as official treat provider to the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, announced in 2008.
Cadbury will play its part in the London 2012 Games Maker programme by aiming to bring games and team building spirit to the Games Maker experience.
Starting with the Games Maker selection process, Cadbury is aiming to push its Spots v Stripes campaign by playing the game at the selection days to help bring the volunteers together.
Of the quarter of a million people that have applied for the Games Maker programme, up to 70,000 people will be chosen for the volunteer programme at selection centres across the UK over the next 14 months.
The first selection centre venue is the Excel Centre in London and interviews commence in February 2011, before touring the UK to seven more sites.
In association with Groundwork, Cadbury has also put in place a national network of Spots v Stripes Community Games Coordinators and is recruiting 2000 volunteers.
