Cadbury Unveils Large 2012 Push

Cadbury is set to push its sponsorship of the London 2012 Olympics with its biggest ever marketing campaign.

The confectionery company has named its Olympic campaign ‘Spots V Stripes’ and is aiming to involve the public in a number sporting events across the country in the run-up to the Olympics.

Cadbury is set produce a TV advert to promote the campaign that will target 20 – 30-year olds.   

Cadbury signed on as a Tier Two sponsor of the London Olympics in 2008 and plans to promote its deal as official treat provider well in advance of the Games – where it is set to supply all confectionery and ice creams at the Olympic Park as well as the sailing venue in Weymouth.

The campaign is being launched due to Kraft’s new ownership and the overhaul it’s giving to the company’s marketing strategy.
