Cityjet Swoop For Irish

London Irish have landed CityJet as their main sponsor for the new season.

The deal includes team travel and a bonus structure based on the Exiles’ performances in the Guinness Premiership and European Challenge Cup.

It builds on the Dublin-based airline’s initial sponsorship of the club’s successful run in the Heineken Cup last season, where they reached the semi-finals.

Geoff O’Byrne-White, chief executive of CityJet, said he hoped the deal would help them develop services from London City airport.
