Clissitt New Head Of Sport At Telegraph

Ben Clissitt, the former head of sport at Guardian News & Media, has been appointed head of sport at the Telegraph Media Group.

Clissitt will replace Mark Skipworth, who remained head of sport after taking on the role as executive editor in charge of the Daily Telegraph’s Saturday edition.

Clissitt left the Guardian in February, taking voluntary redundancy having been appointed head of sport at GNM after becoming sports editor of the Guardian in April 2000.

He will be in charge of Telegraph Media Group’s sports department in the lead-up to the London 2012 Olympics.
