CONTENTed are set to unveil Turnstyle, a new digital format that will go live in August across mobile and web – and have also confirmed two new management appointments ahead of the launch.
Turnstyle is a new media platform that reportedly brings together the worlds of sport, fashion, music, film and tech.
Aimed at the youth market, Turnstyle.co.uk will be supported a number of partnerships at launch including JD Sports in a deal that will guarantee audience to the new brand giving JD access to content in return.
The project will be backed by a range of owned, earned and paid for advertising created by the CONTENTed team.
As part of the expansion, Anthony Hogg – former commercial development director at talkSPORT – joins the CONTENTed venture as commercial director with immediate effect and Dan Foley former digital editor IPC, joins as Turnstyle Editor.
Hogg was part of an award winning team at talkSPORT, also working on its print title ‘Sport Magazine’.
Meanwhile, Foley was responsible for the digital success of Nuts and Mousebreaker from 2012, building record audiences and working with the commercial team to introduce new revenue streams through content innovation and digital features.
Turnstyle will be managed commercially and editorially by CONTENTed. An in house team of 10 multi-media creators has been put together making and commissioning content of all kinds.
Moz Dee CONTENTEed co-founder said: ‘Turnstyle will be a mix of exclusive video, good writing and entertainment that will build audience for our partners via exclusive access’
Fellow co-founder Adam Bullock added: ‘This offers a different relationship with the audience, and I’m already excited about the range of integrated partnerships we can offer.’
