Due to the unprecedented number of entries into the Sport Industry Awards 2012, the deadline for all submissions has been extended until Friday, 16th December.

Now in its eleventh year, the sport industry’s most anticipated and prestigious awards will take place on Wednesday 2nd May 2012, once more returning to Battersea Evolution in central London.

The annual awards ceremony will see the country’s top-performing sport brands, agencies, governing bodies and organisations receive recognition for their work at a glamorous black-tie event, in what has become the most visible and sought-after endorsement of commercial achievement in sport.

Having celebrated its 10th anniversary in May, the Sport Industry Awards continues to grow year-on-year with this year’s star-studded ceremony once again featuring a host of sporting celebrities including Andrew Strauss, AP McCoy, Jack Wilshere, Joe Calzaghe, Petr Cech, Sir Geoff Hurst, Denise Lewis, Michael Vaughan, Dame Kelly Holmes, Alan Shearer, Sir Clive Woodward, Amir Khan and many more, as well as over 1,700 industry heavyweights from every spectrum of the industry.

17 winners, including adidas, the ECB, Nike, Team Sky, Umbro and the Celtic Manor Resort, walked away with a much-coveted Sport Industry Award from a field of more than 250 entering companies and organisations. Click here to see the 2011 winners or find out what the stars said.
