Sports drink brand Powerade has revealed its latest project, sending Olympic hero Jessica Ennis out undercover in Hyde Park to surprise an amateur athlete with the training session of his life.

Armed with a microphone, a wig, and a pair of glasses, the disguised face of London 2012 is sent out as part of the Powerade’s new ‘You Have More Power Than You Think’ campaign.

In the film, the Olympic champion pushes her unsuspecting student to his limits and beyond, showing him how to unlock the hidden reserves every athlete needs to take their performance to the next level.

Zoe Howorth, marketing director Coca-Cola GB, said: ‘Powerade ambassador Jessica Ennis proved to the world at the London 2012 Olympic Games that people can achieve great things with the right preparation and belief. The campaign is a reminder to us all that we have the power to surprise ourselves with what we’re capable of and encourage us to push that little bit further to achieve our fitness goals.’

The latest video is part of a European wide campaign by the brand which also features some of Powerade’s other assets, including Juventus FC and Olympic judo champion Teddy Riner.
