Eurosport has extended its long-running association with the Sport Industry Group in a partnership that will see the pan-European broadcaster continue to back the Best Live Experience category at the BT Sport Industry Awards, the flagship celebration of commercial achievement in sport.

The Best Live Experience category, won in its inaugural year by British Airways for its ‘Park Life’ experience at London 2012, recognises the very best in both experiential marketing and fan experience.

‘We believe that the creativity, innovation and performance of the sport industry is unrivalled in any other sector in the world, so we are delighted to continue our partnership with the BT Sport Industry Awards,’ said Heather Bowler, Director of Global Communications at Eurosport.

‘Live sport is at the heart of Eurosport’s DNA and so to continue our support of this category was a simple choice. We are excited to see the Official Shortlist when it is announced on 14th February.”

Eurosport’s role as an Official Partner of the BT Sport Industry Awards includes an array of branding opportunities and other rights both in advance of the Awards ceremony and on the night, Thursday 8th May 2014.

The BT Sport Industry Awards 2014 will once again bring together more than 1,750 of the sport industry’s key representatives at a star-studded gathering that will celebrate the outstanding commercial achievements in sport this year across marketing, PR, sponsorship, talent management, advertising, community investment and branding.

The deadline for entries into the sport industry’s flagship event closes tomorrow (Friday 6th December). For more information visit sig-staging.ypstagingserver.com/awards.

The Official Partners of the BT Sport Industry Awards are Barclays, Deloitte and Eurosport.
